SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Benchmark Communities (“Benchmark”), a leading national homebuilder known for its award-winning approach to customer service, is thrilled to announce that eight of its dedicated employees were named finalists in six different categories in the Building Industry Association of the Bay Area’s (“BIA Bay Area”) 2017 Excellence in Homebuilding Awards for their considerable contributions to the homebuilding industry over the past year. In further news, Benchmark’s Roger Barrientos was selected as the Sales Professional of the Year, chosen over candidates from other leading homebuilders including Taylor Morrison, Lennar Homes and The Ryness Company. Benchmark’s strong performance in the BIA Bay Area 2017 Excellence in Homebuilding Awards follows its tremendous success in another leading industry awards competition, the Eliant Home Buyers Choice Awards, where it won 16 awards across multiple categories in March.
