INDIANAPOLIS--()--Appirio, a Wipro company, an organization that helps companies improve worker and customer experiences, launches the second annual Appirio Worker Experience Tour, sponsored by Amazon Web Services, Conga, Cornerstone, Salesforce, Workday. The 11-city global tour, will kick off on April 26th in Atlanta, Georgia.

The tour is designed to empower HR, IT, marketing, and customer service leaders to take their business’s Worker Experience to the next level to create an engaged, productive, and agile workforce — and in turn, building a more modern and flexible Customer Experience. Attendees will hear real-world lessons from executives at BuzzFeed, Forrester, Unum, and others about how to transform their Worker Experience from “bashful to bold” using artificial intelligence and the latest solutions from cloud technology leaders like Amazon Web Services, Google, Salesforce, and Workday.

“Businesses are starting to understand the importance of customer experience, but there’s a lag in understanding the importance of the worker experience,” said Harry West, Head of Worker Experience at Appirio. “Happy workers create happy customers, and happy customers create happy workers. You can’t have one without the other — this is what we call the Virtuous Cycle.”

“Organizations who invest in worker experience absolutely crush the competition across all key indicators including revenue, profit, growth, and stock price performance,” said Jacob Morgan, future of work expert keynoting tour events in New York and San Francisco. “Investing in worker experience allows your organization to unlock the discretionary effort of your workforce so your employees can go above and beyond when servicing customers.”

Attendees will learn how to tap into a phenomenon called the Virtuous Cycle and witness how technology supports aware, satisfied, and amplified customers, ultimately ensuring profit and growth for organizations in the age of the customer.

“The future of work is about people first,” said Cheryl Cran, future of work expert keynoting the Atlanta and Chicago tour stops. “Technology is the enabler of the worker experience and the customer experience. Leaders need to build skills and strategies that focus on people as the lead focal point. Companies that are people-first focused will have the competitive advantage as we head into the future of work.”
