FREMONT, Calif.--()--A new challenger approaches: ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG), a provider of innovative technology for dedicated gamers, today announced its sponsorship of NRG eSports, a professional gaming team. NRG eSports counts legendary pro athletes Shaquille O’Neal and Alex Rodriguez, MLB player Jimmy Rollins, as well as Co-Owners of the Sacramento Kings, Andy Miller and Mark Mastrov, among its key investors and advisors. As part of this sponsorship, NRG will receive exclusive premium PC hardware from ASUS ROG, including desktops, laptops and monitors.

NRG eSports competes in a number of arenas, bringing the likes of Seagull of Overwatch and Nairo of Super Smash Bros., among others, together for a show of world-class talent and passion. The global eSporting brand joins a number of major eSports organizations sponsored by ASUS ROG, including PSG eSports, Echo Fox, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and DreamHack Masters.
