Acadian Asset Management Appoints Catherine Canney as Director of Corporate & Digital Marketing

BOSTON--()--Acadian Asset Management LLC, a firm specializing in active global and international investing, today announced the addition of Catherine Canney, who has joined as Director of Corporate & Digital Marketing. Ms. Canney will be based out of the firm’s Boston, Massachusetts headquarters where she will focus on developing and implementing Acadian’s digital marketing content initiatives, both internal and external. She will report to Laurent De Greef, Director, Client Solutions & Product Strategy.

Ms. Canney joins Acadian from MIT’s Sloan School of Management, where she served as Chief of Staff and the Associate Dean of Brand Strategy since 2010. Previously, she held various roles at MIT Sloan in global engagement, stewardship and donor relations. Prior to that, she held stewardship roles at Boston Children’s Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Ms. Canney holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in sociology and philosophy from Connecticut College. She has also published several papers on innovation and the history of MIT Sloan and was the Co-Editor of MIT Sloan’s Alumni Magazine from 2012 to 2015.
