Jeanatte Salazar from the Public Inquiry Unit of the California DOJ delivers information to complainant, on behalf of CA AG Becerra, SubscriberWise confirms

SACRAMENTO, Calif.--()--SubscriberWise, the nation’s largest issuing CRA for the communications industry and the leading advocate for children victimized by identity fraud, announced today the swift response from the State of California Department of Justice, Attorney General Xavier Becerra’s Office, following an official complaint against Regions Bank involving unfair and deceptive pricing documented by company founder David Howe.

“Almost immediately after submitting an official complaint against Regions Bank to the California Department of Justice, including providing a 9-page presentation with printed and audio supporting documentation of UDAPs, I received a signed letter from Ms. Jeanatte Salazar, on behalf of California Attorney General Xavier Becerra, thanking me for the correspondence,” stated SubscriberWise founder David Howe.

“The response from the California Department of Justice concerning my complaint was matter-of-fact. The same can be said about the agency’s suggestion to contact the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, which supervises Regions Bank.

“I appreciate the speedy and informative reply from the Office of Attorney General Becerra,” continued Howe. “However, I’m not surprised by the direct and immediate answer.

“I want to thank Attorney General Becerra – and Ms. Salazar – for thoroughly reviewing the comprehensive information I provided. I also want to acknowledge their timely and responsive effort, an invaluable benefit as I prepare for the fast approaching civil suit that is scheduled for trial in Lee County Florida.

“For the record, precisely as suggested by the AG’s Office, I did contact the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve and I did provide the details of the harmful pricing deception,” Howe concluded.
