HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SCF Partners is pleased to announce that Sean Rice and Colin Welsh are joining the firm.
Prior to joining SCF, Sean Rice was with Goldman, Sachs & Co. for 18 years and most recently served as head of Global Energy Investment Banking. Rice was a longtime member of the Merger Leadership Group and had previously served as Goldman’s head of Mergers & Acquisitions for the Global Energy Group. He also served as an advisor on capital markets transactions and activism defense, with particular focus on oilfield service and upstream clients.
Colin Welsh most recently served as Head of International Energy Investment Banking at Simmons & Company International. Welsh joined Simmons & Company in 1999 and built the firm’s activities outside of North America from the firm’s offices in Aberdeen, London and Dubai. Prior to joining Simmons & Company, he spent 16 years at Ernst & Whinney, Touche Ross and RMD.
