LEHI, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--NUVI, the social media and enterprise data analytics developer, has secured Derek Bryce as its President of Sales and Marketing.
In addition to serving as a member of the executive team where he will work closely with the business development and product strategy teams, Bryce will be responsible for building relationships in an effort to grow NUVI’s worldwide enterprise customer base, channel partners, marketing and lead generation as well as expanding the company’s enterprise sales force.
He joins NUVI from Adobe where he served as Group Vice President for North America Enterprise Sales. He was responsible for sales of all Adobe’s digital and social marketing solutions. In this position, he managed a team of regional sales vice presidents that generated hundreds of millions in recurring revenue.
“I believe in applying a strict cadence of business processes to drive an effective and consistent sales process, allowing for tighter forecasting of the business,” said Bryce. “NUVI has great existing sales talent and my intention is to add some key leadership roles within my organization to take the NUVI Sales and Marketing teams to the next level.”
Bryce’s hiring is the first executive appointment since Keith Nellesen resumed as NUVI chairman and CEO in October 2016.
“Today’s announcement is a direct result of leveraging the relationships Keith Nellesen has built with some of the country’s top technology influencers,” said Josh James, Domo CEO and founder. “During his career, Derek has identified and built top performing sales teams. His insight, networks and talent will position NUVI for continued growth and success.”
"I’ve passed on numerous opportunities the past few years but the NUVI opportunity, poised to release its new enterprise-ready solution, was a game changer I couldn’t pass up,” said Bryce. “I was inspired by Keith’s passion for his company, his people and the aggressive growth strategy he has developed."
Over the past year, NUVI has achieved record account and data partner growth while expanding its global footprint. It was most recently named as one of Education Technology Insights “10 Hottest Social Media Companies” and “Business of the Year” by the Utah County Commission.
“Derek’s deep experience in technology and proven leadership skills are in lock-step alignment with the development direction and aggressive growth trajectory we have established for NUVI,” said Nellesen. “We have significant technology advancements planned for the coming months and with Derek at the helm of sales and marketing we know we’ll stick the landing.”
