Tournament Dates and Schedule of Events Announced for 2017 Ellie Mae Classic at TPC Stonebrae

Web.com Tour event will again benefit Warriors Community Foundation

PLEASANTON, Calif.--()--Ellie Mae, Inc. (NYSE:ELLI), in conjunction with the PGA TOUR, today announced the tournament dates and schedule of events for the 2017 Ellie Mae Classic at TPC Stonebrae, to be contested at TPC Stonebrae Country Club in Hayward, Calif. the week of July 31-August 6. Tournament week will feature two Pro-Ams, a celebrity shootout and four days of tournament play where 156 of golf’s next wave of PGA TOUR stars will compete for a $600,000 purse.

The 2016 Ellie Mae Classic produced one of the most memorable weeks in the Web.com Tour’s 28-year history, with Germany’s Stephan Jaeger posting a PGA TOUR-record 58 in the opening round on his way to a record-setting 30-under-par 250 total and a seven-shot victory.

"We were thrilled with the success of this event under our first year partnership with Ellie Mae and the continued support of TPC Stonebrae, and look forward to building on that momentum in 2017,” said Web.com Tour President Dan Glod. “Our goal is to drive the Ellie Mae Classic’s charitable footprint in the East Bay while creating one of the premier sporting events on the area calendar.”

The Warriors Community Foundation will once again serve as the Ellie Mae Classic’s main charitable beneficiary. The Foundation, established in 2012, supports educational equity and youth development for low-income students in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Charity continues to play a key role in every PGA TOUR-sanctioned event, with other local charities also benefiting. The TOUR and its tournaments generated a record $166 million for charity in 2016, in turn elevating the all-time total donated to charity to nearly $2.5 billion.

The tournament is adding a Celebrity Shootout on Tuesday, August 1 from 5:00-7:00pm PT. Foursomes from the Golden State Warriors, San Francisco 49ers, NFL Alumni, SF Quakes and Pac-12 will play a five-hole shootout to benefit the winning team’s charity of choice.

“We’re looking forward to another great Ellie Mae Classic at TPC Stonebrae,” said Jonathan Corr, president and CEO of Ellie Mae. “The Ellie Mae Classic provides us the opportunity to build visibility for our growing brand right here in the East Bay where so many of our employees, customers and partners call home. We’re also very proud to have the Warriors Community Foundation as our main charitable beneficiary again. We love seeing the players, coaches and staff out on the course and at the tournament, supporting the tournament’s tradition of philanthropy, which aligns with our core value of giving back.”

”We’re honored to continue as the Ellie Mae Classic’s charitable partner,” said Jose Gordon, executive director of the Warriors Community Foundation. “In Ellie Mae, the PGA, and TPC Stonebrae we have a world-class team that shares our passion for social responsibility and local community impact.”
