SOUTHFIELD, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Consulting, engineering and construction services firm Atwell, LLC is pleased to announce John Gleason has joined the firm as Project Manager, of Land Services, Power & Energy. Based in Southfield, Michigan, his responsibilities include management of real estate activities for renewable energy, pipeline and electrical transmission projects including site control, client relations and oversight of project teams for the national firm.
Gleason is an experienced project manager with extensive experience in energy development site acquisition. Additional expertise includes securing unitization, surface, and maintenance agreements, interpretation of real estate documents, securing rights-of-way, coordination of community engagement, routing and siting, oversight of damage settlements and other land related activities.
Gleason is a member of the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL). Over the past three years, he has performed due diligence and conducted lease negotiations for over 30,000 mineral acres in the Midwest and Eastern United States. Additionally he has managed the due diligence of over 1,000 miles of right of way to support wind farm, pipeline and transmission.
