U.S. News & World Report Ranks Pepperdine Graziadio Online MBA One of the Nation’s Top Programs for Students and Veterans

LOS ANGELES--()--Pepperdine Graziadio School of Business and Management announced today that its online MBA program has ranked No. 21 on U.S. News & World Report’s list of 2017 Best Online MBA Programs and No. 13 for Best Online MBA Programs for Veterans.

Every year since its launch in 2013, the Pepperdine Graziadio online MBA has ranked among the top 25 Best Online MBA Programs and the top 25 Best Online MBA Programs for Veterans in U.S. News & World Report (USNWR).

“We’re honored that U.S. News & World Report continues to recognize our world-class, global business education, committed to developing ‘best for the world,’ values-centered leaders,” said Deryck van Rensburg, dean, Pepperdine Graziadio School of Business and Management. “By design, we bring the Malibu experience to our online MBA students. We have worked hard to embed a personal touch in a connected community and bring a hands-on approach to learning through real-world, live cases.”

The USNWR Best Online MBA Programs ranking follows the school’s No. 18 ranking on The Princeton Review’s 2017 list of best online MBA programs, in which Pepperdine Graziadio was the only California school to be recognized.

Pepperdine Graziadio was also the only California school to be chosen by USNWR for its 2017 Best Online MBA Programs for Veterans ranking. Pepperdine Graziadio dedicates unlimited Yellow Ribbon scholarships to students with military backgrounds who, through service to the nation, demonstrate leadership, teamwork, and global acumen—skills that contribute to the vibrant exchange of ideas within the Graziadio online MBA.

The Pepperdine Graziadio two-year, AACSB-accredited online MBA program includes 15 courses taught by distinguished faculty and internationally recognized business leaders, and features six customizable 14-week trimesters. The online MBA program also offers the award-winning Education-to-Business (E2B) experiential course, in which diverse student groups turn complex business theories into practical solutions that benefit pre-selected companies, ranging from global powerhouses and regional brands to innovative startups.

Online MBA students can pursue a general MBA or choose from one of four concentrations: finance, marketing, general management, or leading and managing organizational change. The Pepperdine Graziadio online MBA also offers students a global business perspective through study abroad opportunities in diverse international locations.

For the 2017 ranking, USNWR evaluated online MBA programs at 180 schools in five categories: student engagement, admissions selectivity, peer reputation, faculty credentials and training, and student services and technology. This year’s rankings were highly competitive, with the addition of 37 new schools to the online MBA program list.
