Trustworthy Accountability Group Awards OpenX with “Certified Against Fraud” Seal

OpenX was also recognized by Pixalate Inc. as the highest quality source of inventory for the fourth continuous month

LOS ANGELES & NEW YORK--()--OpenX, a global leader in creating programmatic advertising marketplaces that drive superior monetization for publishers, today announced that it is one of the first group of companies awarded the “Certified Against Fraud” Seal from the Trustworthy Accountability Group (TAG), an advertising industry initiative created to fight criminal activity in the digital advertising supply chain.

OpenX is one of just 16 companies to complete the thorough review process to meet TAG’s rigorous anti-fraud standards, furthering the company’s commitment to investing in measures to eliminate fraud in digital advertising. According to the ANA, ad fraud is expected to cost the global advertising industry more than $7 billion dollars in 2016.

“OpenX has long been a leader in creating fair and transparent marketplaces for online advertising. As the industry grows and evolves, it is vital that we develop new tools and methods to fight the forces that can undermine the health of the ecosystem. We are proud to be recognized by TAG as a pioneer in the fight for higher standards and for elevating the quality of the industry as a whole,” said John Murphy, VP of Marketplace Quality at OpenX.

The “Certified Against Fraud” Seal is the most recent recognition OpenX has achieved for its commitment to quality. OpenX is also certified under TAG’s “Certified Against Piracy” Program Inventory Quality Guidelines, and a key contributor to the recently introduced “Certified Against Malware” program. OpenX also ranked first in overall quality for mobile, desktop and international inventory on Pixalate’s Global Seller Trust Index for October, solidifying its position as the top source of high-quality inventory across all formats and regions.
