Rothchild shared his excitement for involvement in the community, a key pillar of Mr. Hammons’ legacy. Embassy Suites by Hilton Nashville SE – Murfreesboro is currently engaged in several charitable initiatives, including participation in the JQH national philanthropic partnership with Convoy of Hope, which has a focus on feeding the world’s hungry children and tackling systemic poverty in the United States and globally. Rothchild and his hotel teams are also involved in a non-perishable food drive benefiting those less fortunate; a fundraising walk supporting health-related research; and the highly successful Project SEARCH high school transition program that supports students with developmental disabilities through total workplace immersion; among other community-based efforts.

Track Record of Success

With more than 30 years in the hospitality industry, Rothchild most recently worked for New Castle Hotels & Resorts, where he served as general manager of the Hilton Lexington Downtown in Kentucky. For more than four years, Rothchild was responsible for the modern hotel, which features 366 rooms, 40 condominiums, meeting space, a substantial parking garage and retail space. He has been the recipient of numerous awards throughout his career, including General Manager of the Year (2013) and #1 Hotel Financial Performance Award (2014 and 2015) while with New Castle Hotels & Resorts. His career also includes time with Aimbridge Hospitality, where he was general manager of the Hyatt Regency Deerfield in Illinois. Previously with JQH, he served as general manager of the Embassy Suites by Hilton Tampa USF Near Busch Gardens in Florida. He was also general manager of the Hilton-managed Embassy Suites by Hilton Charleston Historic District in South Carolina. In addition, he worked for Winegardner & Hammons, Inc. as general manager of the Embassy Suites by Hilton Lexington in Kentucky, during which time the property received the coveted Connie Award for outstanding performance in service and quality. Rothchild has a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology with a minor in chemistry from the University of Cincinnati. He is active in the professional community, including serving in board positions for local and state hospitality associations and convention and visitors bureaus.
