DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Trend Micro Incorporated (TYO: 4704; TSE: 4704), a global leader in cybersecurity solutions, today announced the availability of Trend Micro Deep Security as a Service on AWS Marketplace. Building on a history of innovations, this new Trend Micro offering enables organizations to combine the benefits of security software-as-a-service (SaaS) with the convenience of consolidated payments through their Amazon Web Services (AWS) bill. With per-hour pricing for added protection of Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) instances, Deep Security as a Service provides customers a fully hosted security management experience with rapid delivery of innovations. Recently announced as PCI level 1 certified, Deep Security as a Service complements the robust security of the AWS Cloud with rapid setup and deployment time— it only takes seconds to sign up and start securing workloads.
“We prefer to use Software as a Service to power aspects of our business. Having Deep Security as a Service available in the AWS Marketplace makes it very easy for us to include additional EC2 security services from Trend Micro,” said Craig Chamberlain, Director of Security Research at Acquia. “Trend Micro’s product makes it easy to add additional layers of advanced threat protection, such as Intrusion Detection, using a lightweight security agent. Trend Micro’s SaaS product is DevOps-friendly as it provides intelligent agent orchestration and management via programmable automation.”
With the launch of SaaS Subscriptions on AWS Marketplace, AWS customers can now receive a single bill for multiple SaaS products on their existing AWS bill. They can compare multiple solutions, subscribe with their AWS account, and never reenter payment information. After subscribing, they can directly access the Trend Micro site to set up their account.
“With Deep Security as a Service, Trend Micro delivers a flexible and easy-to-use solution which AWS customers depend on to provide added security for their EC2 instances,” said David McCann, VP of AWS Marketplace and Catalog Services, Amazon Web Services, Inc. “Security is our top priority at AWS, and Deep Security as a Service is an example of the powerful tools our AWS Partner Network Partners provide to help customers to meet their security objectives. Now customers have an even easier way to get started using Deep Security as a Service to protect workloads and increase operational efficiencies.”
“Trend Micro’s offering of Deep Security with SaaS Subscriptions on AWS Marketplace makes it easier than ever to use software vital for running a business,” said Justin Foster, Head of Cloud Workload Security at Trend Micro. “With the increasing demand for proven security solutions that help with shared security responsibility in the cloud, AWS has made it easy to find, subscribe to and procure software like Deep Security, all on a single bill.”
Trend Micro has been named the leader in the IDC server security market share for 6 straight years. In 2016, Trend Micro placed furthest to the right in the leadership quadrant for Completeness of Vision in the Gartner Endpoint Magic Quadrant.
