HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Valmie Resources Inc.(VMRI) announces its joint venture partner – AeroLift eXpress, LLC – recently returned from another successful trip to Trinidad and Tobago as it continues to move forward with plans to hold a live demonstration of its unmanned transport capability.
In collaboration with its partner in that country, Cargo Consolidators Agency Limited, AeroLift held further talks with the Trinidadian Coast Guard and received a full facility tour of the Trinidad and Tobago Civil Aviation Authority campus.
“As always, we received a warm welcome from the Trinidadian Coast Guard and the Civil Aviation Authority,” said James Stafford, AeroLift eXpress CEO and Founder. “We are now working on how to integrate our operations within their systems. We are working through the logistical nuts and bolts.”
Stafford added that due in part to exporting license delays, the demonstration will not take place until after the first of the year.
Earlier in the year, AeroLift made other successful trips to Port of Spain, Trinidad, where the company met with various heads of state and energy corporation representatives to explore implementing AeroLift’s unmanned aerial technologies. In addition to air cargo transport, discussions were held regarding pipeline and platform monitoring and coastal studies in the region.
As a result of these positive meetings, AeroLift was invited to return for in-depth presentations in preparation for the live demonstration flight.
AeroLift is an unmanned aerial transport service with the capacity to deliver payloads of up to 15 pounds at an operating radius of 250 miles. According to Stafford, AeroLift’s unmanned aerial system will permit operation in challenging seas and terrain with the efficiency, speed, and range of a fixed-wing aircraft.
Cargo Consolidators Agency Limited is an independent full-service freight forwarding, logistics, and consolidation company specializing in import and export freight, marine insurance and hazardous goods handling and warehousing.
