Primary Energy Recycling Awarded Highest Honor at Zero Injury Safety Awards Gala

OAK BROOK, Ill.--()--Affirming its strident commitment to worker safety, Primary Energy Recycling Corp. (“Primary Energy”) has been honored by The National Maintenance Agreement Policy Committee (NMAPC) with the Zero Injury Safety Award® (ZISA), the construction and maintenance industry’s premier safety recognition program. Primary Energy builds, owns and operates clean and efficient energy recycling projects on or near the industrial customer's site.

Primary Energy utilized industrial contractors Enerfab Inc. and Hayes Mechanical to complete a multi-year retubing project for the company’s heat recovery boilers located at its Cokenergy facility in East Chicago, IN. The work was completed in 2014 and resulted in a total of 147,057 hours of injury free work.

Other past or current years’ winners include the Ford Motor Company, Duke Energy Corporation and American Electric Power.
