Second Annual La Brea Bakery Thanksgiving Heroes Campaign Now Accepting Entries

LOS ANGELES--()--This Thanksgiving, La Brea Bakery—North America’s #1 Artisan bread brand—is doubling last year’s campaign to celebrate ten everyday heroes who serve their communities by working on a holiday many spend with loved ones. Now in its second year, the Thanksgiving Heroes campaign helps friends and families say “Thank You” to these men and women by nominating them to receive a delicious, heartfelt holiday meal delivered to where they work on Thanksgiving Day to share with their co-workers.

Last year’s campaign received hundreds of nominations from all over the country, and La Brea Bakery surprised five Thanksgiving Heroes with complete Thanksgiving meals, giving them the chance to break bread with their colleagues as well as those closest to them. This year, the Thanksgiving Heroes campaign will make an even bigger impact by recognizing ten winners in cities all over the United States.

“At La Brea Bakery we fully appreciate what Thanksgiving Day means. It’s more than a meal. It’s an opportunity to express love and appreciation for the most important people in your life. We are thrilled to once again give our customers the opportunity to show gratitude to their loved ones through our Thanksgiving Heroes campaign”, said Kristina Dermody, Brand President of ARYZTA, the parent company of La Brea Bakery. “The touching submissions we received last year inspired us to expand the program this year, doubling the campaign to include ten heroes from across the country. We can’t wait to meet the Thanksgiving Heroes this year.”

Starting today, friends and families can nominate their Thanksgiving Hero by visiting labreabakery.com/thanksgiving-heroes to share their story. Entries will be collected until November 20th, and ultimately 10 winners will be selected to receive a delicious Thanksgiving feast courtesy of La Brea Bakery. All nominators will receive a coupon for a free loaf of La Brea Bakery bread, and those whose nominee is selected as a winner will also receive a $500 gift card.
