This partnership is an important step forward for research and development for both companies, and will allow both to expand the functionality and applications of their products and processes. Blue Wave produces hot filament chemical vapor deposition (HFCVD) equipment. This is an important differentiator as AKHAN is now preparing to fabricate Miraj Diamond™ material from both microwave and hot filament systems for a variety of thin film substrates such as silicon, silicon carbide, and glass.
AKHAN is excited to partner with Blue Wave Semiconductors for nanocrystalline diamond process development on Hot Filament Chemical Vapor Deposition (HFCVD) systems. The partnership will allow AKHAN to optimize its diamond technologies for a variety of optical, mechanical, & thermal/electronic product lines and will facilitate rapid and efficient commercial scaling.
