29 FICS Customers Recognized in Annual Survey of Top Commercial/Multifamily Servicers

DALLAS--()--Financial Industry Computer Systems, Inc. (FICS®), a provider of loan origination software, residential servicing software and commercial servicing software for the mortgage industry, today announced that 29 of its current servicing clients were ranked in the top 100 companies by the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) for its annual 2016 Mid-Year Survey of Commercial/Multifamily Servicing Volumes.

MBA's survey of servicers is released twice a year -- mid-year and year-end -- and gathers data focused on the volume of loans serviced and includes breakouts for primary, master and special servicing. The survey also ranks servicing firms by their total servicing volumes, as well as their servicing for specific investor groups, including CMBS, life insurance companies, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, FHA and other investor groups.

Lancaster Pollard Mortgage Company, LLC, an FICS customer based in Columbus, Ohio, has been highlighted on the list for its total primary and master servicing of total loans, commercial bank/savings institution loans, and other loans. An FICS customer since 2001, Lancaster Pollard successfully leverages FICS’ Commercial Servicer, Commercial Accountant, and LoanStat for servicing.

“We’ve counted on FICS for 15 years, and they’ve never disappointed,” said Shelly Harvey, senior vice president and director of servicing at Lancaster Pollard. “Since implementing Commercial Servicer in 2001, our portfolio has grown exponentially, from 22 loans totaling $128 million to nearly 1,000 loans totaling over $5.4 billion. Servicing has become more complicated and system demands have altered, but FICS has been more than able to handle the growth and change. Our goal is to continuously use Commercial Servicer to its full potential.”

FICS customers included in these rankings significantly rely on FICS’ Commercial Servicer® to manage their commercial loan portfolios. Commercial Servicer provides the most comprehensive and cost-effective system for commercial loan servicing. The solution automates the servicing of commercial loans, such as multi-family and commercial real-estate, income property and construction, as well as accommodates the servicing of lines of credit loans for equipment, inventory and more.

“With regulatory and investor reporting requirements continuing to increase pressure on today’s mortgage industry, we remain focused on providing our customers with the most robust technology offerings available to simplify on-going operations as best as possible,” said Susan Graham, president and COO of FICS. “Seeing 29 of our existing servicing customers recognized in this year’s mid-year MBA rankings reinforces the effort we put into supporting the success of the mortgage industry and serves as a positive reflection of the important role Commercial Servicer can play in today’s loan servicing environment.”
