Joël Robuchon is to Be the Patron of EHL's New Master Class in Culinary Arts

LAUSANNE, Switzerland--()--Joël Robuchon, the chef who has received the most Michelin stars in the world, a “Meilleur Ouvrier de France” and president of the institute that will bear his name in Montmorillon, will be the patron of the first cohort of the Master Class in Culinary Arts taught at Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL), which will commence in February 2017.

The program is a six-month certificate for university degree holders who are passionate about culinary arts and gastronomy, and who would like to forge careers in the food and beverage industry. Sstudents to practice various culinary skills as well as table decoration, etiquette and service. They will tackle innovation, research and development challenges, while also immersing themselves in entrepreneurship and the operational management of food and beverage outlets. The teaching teams are made up of leading experts in management and of “Meilleurs Ouvriers de France” for the practical sessions.

As patron, Joël Robuchon will bring an additional seal of excellence to this program, inspired, as always, by his passion for the culinary arts, his spirit of entrepreneurship, and his tirelessness in conveying his savoir-faire.

In June 2016, at the opening of the future Joël Robuchon International Institute, EHL and Mr. Robuchon announced their new partnership with an aim to combining their complementary experience in culinary training courses.
