ARLINGTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Two distinguished law enforcement industry leaders, Ronald Sloan, former director of the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, and Robert C. Fahlman, former Director General with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, have joined Wynyard as advisors, the company announced today. They will provide insight to Wynyard on the needs of law enforcement agencies, engage with industry leaders, and share their knowledge of investigative and criminal intelligence challenges and procedures.

Sloan and Fahlman will join Louis F. Quijas, former Assistant Director of the FBI and former Assistant Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, on the Wynyard Advisory Council. Quijas has been with Wynyard since 2014.
Sloan served as Director of the Colorado Bureau of Investigation from 2008 to 2015, and prior to that was Police Chief for the City of Arvada, Colorado from 1994 until his 2007. He also served as president (voluntary role) of the Association of State Criminal Investigative Agencies. He is a graduate of the FBI Law Enforcement Executive Development Seminar, and a graduate of Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, Senior Executives in State and Local Government Program. Sloan holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree from the University of Northern Colorado.
Fahlman served in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police for 35 years, most recently as Director General, Criminal Intelligence, until retiring in 2011. In that role, he managed intelligence policy, professional standards and training, domestic and international partnerships, and research and development. In 1992, Robert was awarded the Canada 125 Medal in recognition of his distinguished service to the Government of Canada, and in 2011 was appointed an Officer of the Order of Merit of the Police Forces (O.O.M.) by the Governor General of Canada.
Robert graduated from Ryerson University, Toronto and has completed additional studies at Carleton University and the Canadian Police College, Ottawa; the RCMP Training Academy, Regina; Queen’s University, Kingston; and, Georgetown University, Washington, D.C.
