TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Robert C. Fahlman, former Director General with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, has joined Wynyard Group as an advisor, the company announced today. Fahlman will provide insight to Wynyard on the needs of law enforcement agencies, engage with industry leaders, and share his knowledge of investigative and criminal intelligence challenges and procedures.

Fahlman served in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police for 35 years, most recently as Director General, Criminal Intelligence, until retiring in 2011. In that role, he managed intelligence policy, professional standards and training, domestic and international partnerships, and research and development.
Fahlman was awarded the Canada 125 Medal in 1992 in recognition of his distinguished service to the Government of Canada. In 2011, he was appointed an Officer of the Order of Merit of the Police Forces (O.O.M.) by the Governor General of Canada.
A graduate of Ryerson University, Toronto, Fahlman has also completed studies at Carleton University and the Canadian Police College, Ottawa; the RCMP Training Academy, Regina; Queen’s University, Kingston; and Georgetown University, Washington, D.C.
Wynyard also announced that Ronald Sloan, former director of the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, has joined the company’s Advisory Council.
