NORCROSS, Ga.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GC&E Systems Group, Inc. (GC&E) announced its successful pursuit of the IMCS III task order at Fort Stewart, GA. This task order valued at over $12M is to provide Administrative Telephone System, Land Mobile Radio and cable plant infrastructure requirements for the Southeast Region Network Enterprise Center (R-NEC) at Fort Stewart, Hunter Army Airfield and the port of Savannah. This task order is a one (1) year contract with four (4) one (1) year options, totaling a Period of Performance of five (5) years.
The Army has designated Fort Stewart as the Southeast R-NEC which supports Army IT networks across Georgia, Florida, South Carolina and North Carolina. The effort covers three (3) Army local NECs and five (5) surface deployment and distribution commands. The R-NEC operates as a subordinate element of the 7th Signal Command, part of the Army’s Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM).
