Biomedical Systems Announces the Appointment of Robin Marc Akers as the New VP of Business Development

ST. LOUIS--()--Biomedical Systems – a 40-year-old, family-owned leading clinical trial provider to Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Biotech, and Contract Research Organizations (CROs) – has announced the appointment of Robin Marc Akers as the new Vice President of Business Development.

Mr. Akers brings over 20 years of life science sales and sales leadership experience to Biomedical Systems. He joins Biomedical Systems from Southern Research Institute where he led the Global Business Development Team for the Drug Development Division. He has held other senior sales positions at organizations such as Thermo Fisher Scientific, DuPont and DynaVox Technologies.

Mr. Akers earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Citadel in 1986 and holds Masters degrees from Paris-Sorbonne University (MA) and Webster University (MBA).
