Hexadite’s Aaron Cote Named to CRN “100 People You Don’t Know But Should” List

VP of Sales Playing a Critical Role as Security and Orchestration Platform Expands in the Channel with Key Resellers

BOSTON--()--Hexadite, creator of the first agentless intelligent security orchestration and automation platform, today announced that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has recognized Aaron Cote, vice president of sales at Hexadite, as one of 100 People You Don’t Know But Should in the IT channel for 2016.

Cote leads Hexadite’s global sales efforts, leveraging his extensive experience bringing security technology to market. He joined Hexadite from Carbon Black where he was regional director of the East. Earlier this year, Cote helped guide Hexadite to a landmark reseller partnership with Hewlett Packard Enterprise. He and the Hexadite team are currently finalizing a formal partner program and onboarding partners for the launch of its channel program later this year.

“This year at Hexadite, we experienced a 900 percent growth rate in our customer base by selling direct, and in the current environment of rising threats and a lack of qualified pros to address them, demand for orchestration and automation is only increasing. The channel will play a pivotal role in helping to meet that demand and we expect it to be our largest revenue driver in the years to come,” said Eran Barak, CEO and co-founder of Hexadite. “Aaron’s incredible sales skills and deep understanding of the security industry have been invaluable assets in helping guide our strategy in the channel.”

The CRN editorial team, assessing feedback from solution providers and other industry executives, compiles this annual list to celebrate under-the-radar channel management team members from the industry's top vendors and distributors. Those selected have worked tirelessly to create, promote and manage programs and policies that support and advance the IT channel.

“There are a number of people who work behind the scenes in the channel whose efforts do not often receive widespread attention, although they truly help to hold up the entire industry and make it the thriving, smoothly functioning ecosystem that it is,” said Robert Faletra, CEO of The Channel Company. “We are pleased to shine a spotlight on these individuals with CRN’s 2016 list of 100 People You Don’t Know But Should list and to honor their important work, which quietly underpins the infrastructure of the IT channel and allows the community to advance as a whole.”

The 2016 list of 100 People You Don’t Know But Should will be featured in the October issue of CRN and can be viewed online at www.crn.com/100people.
