NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Third Avenue Management LLC (“Third Avenue”), a registered investment adviser based in New York, today announced that Kristina Fox will be joining the firm as Managing Director, Head of Sales and National Accounts. Ms. Fox will be responsible for leading Third Avenue’s sales efforts for its equity mutual funds, including The Third Avenue Value (TAVFX), Small-Cap Value (TASCX), Real Estate Value (TAREX) and International Value (TAVIX) Funds.

Ms. Fox joins Third Avenue from Neuberger Berman where she spent 18 years elevating its brand through a variety of financial intermediary platforms. Her role included product placement as well as, more recently, serving as the product specialist for one of Neuberger Berman's flagship funds. She has over two decades of experience in sales and client service. Prior to her time at Neuberger Berman, Ms. Fox played an integral role at Credit Suisse Asset Management and its predecessor firm, Warburg Pincus Asset Management in similar capacities. Ms. Fox received her MBA in Finance from NYU and BA in International Relations from the University of Southern California.
