MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--NEORIS, a global business and IT consulting company, announced today it has appointed Jose de Paz as the new Financial Services Practice Leader in the United States. De Paz will be reporting directly to Jaime Peñaranda, who heads the Financial Services Accounts at a global level.
Jose de Paz has more than 11 years’ experience working in the sales and financial side of the IT services industry, having held key C-level positions in Europe, Latin America and the U.S. Before joining NEORIS, he held the position of CEO for AGS Global Services USA, where he led efforts to consolidate the company in the US and create a reference for the IT services in the East Coast. Prior to that, he was the Sales Director for AMPER S.A. in Spain, where he managed global accounts for the financial and insurance markets, including top global accounts such as BBVA and Santander.
His extensive knowledge of the financial services industry from the point of view of the IT sector and experience in banking in Chile, Mexico, Spain and the U.S. made him the perfect candidate for the newly created role. De Paz is tasked with expanding the financial services practice for NEORIS in the U.S. with a heavy focus on the banking sector.
Jose de Paz obtained his master’s degree in financial management at IESE Business School, ranked among the top 10 in the world. Fluent in both English and Spanish, he is a member of HITEC (Hispanic IT Executive Council) and ALFPA (Association of Latino Professionals for America).
