LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Diligent Corporation, global leader of secure corporate governance and collaboration solutions for boards and leadership teams, is supporting Battersea Dogs & Cats Home with a 12-month fundraising campaign starting in the second half of 2016. Diligent’s ‘PAWsome’ campaign kicks off with a corporate donation of £15,000, with a further fundraising goal of £10,000, which will be used to kit out operation and recovery pens for dogs in the new Veterinary Hospital and Centre of Excellence that will open at Battersea later in September.
This new world-leading facility enables Battersea’s vets to tackle more complex surgeries and perform more procedures with a dedicated dental suite, an in-house laboratory and an X-ray suite to speed up diagnosis and treatment.
“Diligent’s support helps us give some of Battersea’s most vulnerable animals a calm, safe environment where they can recuperate in comfort,” said Paul McKenzie, Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships at Battersea. “Thousands of lost, abandoned or unwanted animals arrive at our gates every year. Support from companies like Diligent means we can care for them until we find them a safe home.”
As part of the campaign, Diligent is encouraging its customers, employees and suppliers to join it in various fundraising activities, including at Battersea’s Annual Reunion and Fun Day on 4th September in Battersea Park and at the charity’s annual Collars & Coats Gala Ball on 3rd November.

The campaign launches on 4th September at Battersea’s Reunion and Fun Day in Battersea Park, London, where Diligent will be hosting customers and friends at its hospitality tent between 11am and 4.30pm.
