Air Force Taps LMI for Systems Engineering, Environmental Restoration Support

TYSONS, Va.--()--The environmental restoration division of the Air Force Civil Engineer Center has contracted with an LMI-led team for support in meeting complex program requirements. The one-year task order, valued at more than $500,000, relies on LMI’s two decades of experience with similar Army programs, and employs LMI environmental remediation expertise and risk assessment tools. Work under the task order started the second week of August.

“The Air Force wants innovative government-leading excellence in performance-based remediation site cleanups and we’re here to help,” said Scott Recinos, program manager for this effort, and program director of LMI’s Energy and Environment group.

Subcontractors on LMI’s team are the Analysis, Planning, and Management Institute of Culpeper, Virginia, and the Southwest Research Institute of San Antonio, Texas.
