WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--IOMAXIS, a leader in innovative technologies and mission-focused solutions for the intelligence, defense and civilian government markets, announced today that former Red Hat account executive Matthew Jankowski has joined the company as senior vice president of business development.

In his new role with IOMAXIS, Jankowski will build out the company’s business development function and drive sales to a growing base of customers.

Jankowski joins IOMAXIS with more than 25 years of experience in the areas of military, federal and intelligence communities. His diverse background includes building and leading teams in business development, capture management, product sales and management consulting. These experiences have enabled Jankowski to understand clients’ needs from end to end. He has also held leadership positions with Defense Engineering Inc., Celerant Government Services (now Hitachi Consulting), Kadix Systems (now Engility), Cisco and PRTM Management Consulting (now PWC). He has a proven track record of leading teams building multibillion-dollar pipelines, breaking in to new markets and winning multimillion-dollar contracts.
He began his career as an officer and aviator in the U.S. Navy, serving as a mission commander in the E-2C (group II) flying missions in the Persian Gulf. Jankowski earned a graduate certificate in IT and telecommunications from Johns Hopkins University, a Master of Business Administration from University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business, and a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
