HANOVER, Germany--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Brothers Bastian and Fabian Asam and their mutual friend Denis Härtinger are turning their dreams into reality: on the 9th of April 2016, the trio left their everyday lives far behind in their hometown of Munich and headed off on a bike trip around the world. Under the slogan “ThreesomeWithTwins”, the team aims to circumnavigate the globe in a little over two years. There are four continents, more than 50 countries and over 100,000 kilometres on the itinerary. The threesome are completing their trip on three legendary two-cylinder machines, namely a BMW R1200 GS and two Honda Africa Twin CRF1000As; hence the name of their tour.
Initially the adventurers’ trail led them through South Eastern Europe and Turkey. This was followed by stages through the Caucasus and along the coast of the Caspian Sea into Iran and Central Asia. After crossing Kazakhstan, the “ThreesomeWithTwins” have now arrived in Novosibirsk, Russia.
