NASHVILLE, Tenn.--()--Population health consulting and technology firm, Applied Health Analytics, LLC, announced positive 2015 and 2016 Q1 and Q2 performance at its annual shareholder meeting on July 8 in Charleston, S.C. Solid interest in health system business-development strategies that support population health initiatives that counterbalance the impact of Medicaid and Medicare on health system reimbursement and drive momentum when moving from volume to value, fueled the company’s continued expansion.

Driven by the addition of several new health system clientele leveraging Applied Health Analytics’ consulting expertise and technology to launch or expand systems’ business development strategies, Applied Health Analytics’ 2015 revenue continued its positive trend, exceeding 2014 with double-digit growth. In addition, Applied Health Analytics achieved its most important metric of 100-percent contract renewal for the fifth consecutive year. The company attributes its client retention success, an indicator of durable client satisfaction, to its technology, client support and innovation.

Continued contract renewal, a growing client base and ongoing product development has resulted in strong Q1 and Q2 performance in 2016. Applied Health Analytics is on pace to exceed its forecasted 30-percent annual rate of growth.

“It is an interesting time to be in the health care industry and we are pleased by the industry’s response to the direction we are taking,” said Robert Chamberlain, chairman and CEO at Applied Health Analytics. “The addition of new health systems to our book of business and displacement of much larger national firms further validates the quality of our technology and market leadership position.”

“Our sales backlog and technology development roadmap point to an exciting period of time for our firm as we anticipate impressive growth throughout 2017,” continued Chamberlain.

Staying true to its roots, technology continues to be the firm’s strong suit. Applied Health Analytics successfully tested and is launching BioPakSM, its proprietary device that automates the collection, analysis and sharing of health screening data.

In reference to Applied Health Analytics’ product development process, Eliot Houser, co-founder and CIO, stated, “We assess market demand and respond with innovation and agility. BioPak is a good example of how we listen to our client challenges and develop the right solutions. We view every concern as an opportunity to remove barriers and increase our value to our clients.”

In addition to its organic growth in 2016, Applied Health Analytics partnered with a national biometric screening company for the licensing of its software platform.

“The screening partnership exposes us to many new verticals,” explained Chamberlain. “It provides access to international markets that represent a significant business opportunity. We are in the right place at the right time and will continue to focus on delivering our expertise and technology to ensure optimal performance.”

“Looking ahead, we know the health care industry will continue to undergo change and stress,” closed Chamberlain. “Both represent an opportunity for firms like ours to alleviate strain and channel change into a positive direction. We intend to leverage our leadership position to further distinguish Applied Health Analytics as a trusted firm that delivers what we say we will.”
