NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Tekserve, a leading provider of technology solutions for creative professionals, is encouraging New Yorkers to participate in its eWaste Electronics Recycling Event on Saturday, July 23. As a part of an ongoing series of recycling programs co-hosted with the Lower East Side Ecology Center (Ecology Center), this event will take place at the Tekserve retail store, located in Chelsea at 119 West 23rd Street in New York City, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine.
“This is our ninth year co-hosting the event with the Ecology Center and we are pleased to be able to once again offer our services to the residents of New York City,” says Albert Garcia, Tekserve Retail Director. “We encourage New Yorkers to gather up their old technology and bring them to us to be recycled properly. We are proud to be an ongoing partner with the Ecology Center, providing our community with the opportunity to safely, legally and conveniently recycle their electronics for free.”
While the eWaste recycling drive is open to all unwanted electronics, Mac® or PC (regardless if they were purchased at the Tekserve store or not), household appliances, such as microwaves and air conditioners, will not be accepted.
