ARVADA, Colo.--()--Prescient, a Colorado-based software design, engineering, structural system manufacturing and installation company, was chosen by Continuum Partners to complete the Hyatt House Belmar in Lakewood, Colorado, for Hyatt Hotels Corporation.

“We chose Prescient because they were cost effective and competitive with traditional wood framing,” said Doug Alexander, Continuum Partners’ project director for Hyatt House Belmar. “Their system was faster to erect than all of the other structural options we studied.”

The Prescient system allowed the structure to be erected in only seven weeks, faster than what would be required for traditional wood or concrete framing. Additionally, the Prescient system offers construction companies a faster and cheaper building model using a combination of pre-assembled posts, trusses and panels. The system is ideal for multi-unit structures up to sixteen stories tall, making it a viable choice for hotel projects like the Hyatt House.

“Our system is ideal for hotel construction, as it allows companies like Hyatt to begin generating revenue far sooner than traditional construction methods while also providing a number of cost and quality benefits,” said Satyen Patel, CEO of Prescient.

Prescient, which recently doubled the size of its Arvada headquarters and manufacturing facility, is on track to complete more than 2 million square feet of projects during 2016 in the hospitality, multi-family housing, student and senior housing segments across Colorado, Texas, Florida, Nebraska, Missouri, North Carolina, Illinois and Georgia.
