OptioLabs Announces New Pilot Program for OptioCore and OptioInsight

Successful adoption from leading Android OEMs is sparked by enterprise and government applications

BALTIMORE--()--OptioLabs, a security insight solution provider for the mobile enterprise, today announced the launch of a pilot program fueled by increased market traction for OptioCore by top Android OEMs. Effectively deployed to six major Android platforms each serving a wide range of needs and requirements, OptioCore is successfully enhancing high security devices for classified government, ruggedized devices for the enterprise, as well as new consumer devices running Android Marshmallow.

“The value proposition for OptioCore is becoming increasingly compelling to Android OEMs,” said Bill Anderson, Chief Product Officer of OptioLabs. “Consumer and Enterprise device companies are looking for security, compliance, and productivity enablers they can use to differentiate their platforms. OptioCore exceeds their expectations, and minimizes the time and effort OEMs would otherwise need to develop these kinds of features.”

With a new set of OptioCore-enabled devices expected to become available through the fourth quarter this year, OptioLabs aims to dramatically expand the scope of customer problems it can solve. As a result, OptioLabs is seeking enterprise or government entities to join their pilot program, which will allow participants to integrate available OptioCore-enabled devices with OptioInsight to deploy and manage context-dependent policies for their users. These sophisticated situational policies apply controls automatically, based on time, location, network and other cues – enforcing strict controls only when they are needed, and still preserving an optimal mobile experience for the user.

“We are very excited to launch our pilot program,” Gregg Smith, CEO of OptioLabs affirmed. “We are confident that we have innovative devices that will benefit highly rugged and government uses, as well as corporate enterprises. We are eager to enhance OptioCore and OptioInsight based on the feedback that we receive from the participants.”

Government users and those who need highly rugged applications can now select between three different devices which include, the original Optio-secured phone, the new Sonim XP7 Secure phone, and a soon to be announced powerful new phone containing unique sensors and sporting the latest Android Marshmallow operating system. Corporate customers benefit from OptioCore-enabled Nexus 6 devices and can select from two new enterprise-grade Android Marshmallow phones, offered by major global manufacturers. These devices have an attractive combination of build quality, high functionality, and performance at a competitive price point.
