GOTHENBURG, Sweden--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The new handsets—the Ascom d43, and three variants of the d63—offer ‘wideband audio’, an extended bandwidth of 50Hz to 7,000Hz that helps deliver exceptional sound quality. All four handsets use Ascom Unite software for centralized device management and over-the-air updates.

All four devices support encrypted communications, and conform to European Standard EN300 444 (feature N35) of the European Telecommunications Standards Institute. “The handsets,” adds Ottink, “offer the robust reliability that thousands of professional users associate with Ascom. And now we offer optional functionality, meaning customers can easily add extra messaging and personal alarm capabilities as their business and operational needs change over time.”
