BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--OpTerra Energy Services (OpTerra), a national energy services company that partners with commercial, industrial and institutional clients as well as school districts, cities and counties to implement comprehensive sustainability programs, announced today that its Commercial and Industrial Division will participate in the 2016 New England Energy Efficiency Conference and Expo (NEEECE) as a Platinum Sponsor. The event, presented by Eversource Energy, will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., at the Sheraton Boston Hotel. This is the 8th annual NEEECE and OpTerra’s C&I Division has been a sponsor for all eight years.
The Expo will feature keynote speaker Kate Walsh, President & CEO of Boston Medical Center. It will also include educational sessions on energy efficiency programs and technologies moderated by industry experts.
Throughout the New England Energy Efficiency Conference & Expo, representatives from OpTerra’s Commercial and Industrial Division will be at Booth #1 highlighting examples of successful energy conservation projects where the company was able to maximize utility incentives from Eversource Energy while significantly reducing energy costs for its customers. Additionally, the C&I Division will present case studies highlighting recent energy conservation work across the country in a range of sectors, including hospitality, higher education, and supermarkets. Working with a variety of clients over the course of 2015, the company’s C&I Division installed nearly 50,000 LED fixtures which will provide over 86 million kWh in electricity savings. Over this same period, the C&I Division also secured nearly $16 million in utility incentives for its customers.
“We are proud to return as a sponsor of the eighth annual New England Energy Efficiency Conference & Expo,” said Sean Fuller, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for OpTerra Energy Services’ C&I Division. “Energy conservation is an incredibly important issue and we look forward to sharing the knowledge that OpTerra has gained from efficiency projects completed in both New England and across the country over the last 40 years. Thanks to the proliferation of utility rebates and incentives, the time has never been better to begin an energy efficiency retrofit.”
