OpenX Launches the School of Programmatic in the US

LOS ANGELES & NEW YORK--()--OpenX, a global leader in driving superior monetization for publishers, today announced the U.S. launch of its successful School of ProgrammaticTM. First launched in London in 2015, the OpenX School of Programmatic was created in response to the growing demand among ad tech professionals for general and expert education focused on enabling publishers and marketers to most effectively use programmatic technology.

"Programmatic advertising is now the default technology for managing inventory and campaigns across multiple screens and formats. However, its specific and often complex taxonomy and practices are constantly changing, creating an ongoing need among publishers and marketers to be fluent in the latest innovations and applications," said Jason Fairchild, co-founder and CRO, OpenX. “The reception for the OpenX School of Programmatic in London was tremendously positive. We're excited to launch the US-centric version of the School of Programmatic with expert instructors who bring real world examples, best practices instruction and hands on learning opportunities to participants."

School of Programmatic is a series of free learning sessions designed to provide all advertising professionals, including publishers, app developers, agencies and marketers with the educational foundation needed to optimize their digital advertising strategies and fully leverage the programmatic tools and technologies available to them today.

The U.S. curriculum, adapted to fit the specific needs of the U.S. market, will include sessions with speakers from leading publishers, ad buyers and technology experts with discussions on topics ranging from recent technical innovations such as header bidding management or containers to overarching industry issues such as ad fraud and traffic quality.

The U.S. series will start in September 2016 in New York City. In Europe, there will be a special School of Programmatic session during Cannes Lions, “Understanding Header Bidding,” taking place on Monday, June 20 at 4 p.m. on the Lions Rooftop Bar, and regular workshops will begin again in London following the summer holiday.
