IRVING, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--NEC Corporation of America (NEC), a leading provider and integrator of advanced IT, communications, networking, identity, and multimodal biometric solutions, today announced that it is opening a new office in Washington, D.C. The significant new presence is a showcase for NEC’s industry leading identity solutions and biometric technology dedicated to serve its many government customers and partners.
The new office will be unveiled in an invitation only grand opening reception on May 19 attended by leading officials from the U.S. government, academia, and the private technology sector. The reception will include welcome remarks by NEC Corporation of America’s president and CEO Shinsuke (Shin) Takahashi and a key note talk by Jim Lewis, Senior Vice President at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). Mr. Lewis is an internationally recognized expert on cyber security and is often featured on various media and press outlets including CBS’s 60 Minutes.
