PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Excel4apps, a provider of best-in-class Excel-based inquiry and reporting software for use with Oracle and SAP, has announced that Chris Meyer, the company’s President for Americas and Europe, is now its new global chief executive officer. Meyer will lead Excel4apps from the company’s Pittsburgh, Pa., office, which is the largest globally.

Meyer succeeds Excel4apps Co-founder Michele Buson, who will now lead the company’s new Innovation Center along with Co-founder Shaun Pendrigh. As CEO, Meyer will oversee the senior management team, set strategy, and foster the company’s culture.

Prior to joining Excel4apps in 2009, Meyer was an executive leader at macs Controlling, helping to launch a U.S. division. As a consultant with Perot Systems, Diagonal Plc, and KPMG, he successfully led SAP system implementation, IT strategy, and corporate performance management initiatives in the U.S. and abroad. Chris holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accountancy from the University of Johannesburg and is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
