Argentum Unveils New Look for Senior Living Executive, Prepares for Digital Revitalization

ALEXANDRIA, Va.--()--When the Assisted Living Federation of America was renamed Argentum last year, developing a new visual identity reflecting the association’s new direction, priorities, and updated focus was a key objective. In addition to implementing a new name, tagline, and logo for Argentum, the association has now relaunched Senior Living Executive magazine with a new design and a reorganized focus on delivering the content most critical to the senior living industry. The May/June 2016 issue, reflecting this new look and structure, was unveiled at the 2016 Argentum Senior Living Executive Conference in Denver, Colorado.

“This is a transformative time for the senior living industry,” said Argentum President & CEO James Balda. “As the senior living industry evolves, Argentum remains focused on providing the tools and resources necessary to continue advancing excellence in senior living.”

The latest issue of Senior Living Executive offers a new cover look, new typefaces, and a clean, minimal layout akin to publications such as Harvard Business Review. The content delivered in the magazine now focuses on five key imperatives identified by Argentum following extensive research and consult with association members and other senior living stakeholders: Workforce Development – Growing a workforce of trained professionals to serve older adults; Quality Improvement – Nurturing environments that enhance the quality of life for senior living residents; Operational Excellence – Improving the senior living business through innovation and technology; Consumer Choice – Promoting strategies for financing long term care services and supports; and Memory Care – Enhancing awareness and best practices for the care of residents with dementia.

Argentum is also preparing to recondition the association’s digital presence in order to provide for a more efficient and engaging user experience. The Argentum website will be relaunched featuring a new look and a more streamlined structure, aiming to provide the most up-to-date, comprehensive resource for those seeking the information most relevant to the senior living industry. The association’s social networks and other digital offerings will also feature the latest in senior living news and innovation, as well as a more dynamic and interactive experience for users.
