LeAutolink IoV-enabled Rapide S Debuts

Following the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas this past January, LeEco’s IoV team upgraded several features of the Aston Martin’s Rapide S including design, safety, entertainment apps, human-machine interactivity and functionality, and in-car ecosystem performance. Unveiled at Auto China 2016, the biggest changes to the second-generation LeAutolink IoV-enabled Rapide S include changes to the console and brand-new rear seat entertainment displays. Rapide S second generation features include:

  • Integration with LeCloud-based apps, meeting additional passenger needs.
  • Greater control capacity as well as stronger all-around performance and stability via the console display.
  • A more intelligent user login system that utilizes facial recognition. The system identifies the user by analyzing his or her facial features and then loads their corresponding personalized settings. The sophisticated system recognizes each individual driver and automatically loads his or her personal settings, apps and content accordingly.
  • A dashboard offering multiple UI options and incorporates multimedia, real-time navigation, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), 360 panoramic video-recording and other functions, providing the user with a much better driving and entertainment experience. The user can now directly change the dashboard mode on the console.
