PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BeyondTrust, the leading cyber security company dedicated to preventing privilege misuse and stopping unauthorized access, welcomes Jarrett Benavidez as the company’s new vice president, Central US and Latin America. Reporting to Brendan Evers, senior vice president of sales, Americas, Benavidez will be responsible for all commercial activity in the region; including sales, channels, distributors, recruiting and hiring.
Previous to BeyondTrust, Benavidez served as the managing director of Trustwave’s Latin America & Caribbean regions. When he joined the company in 2007, the region had one employee and one account. During his seven-year tenure, he guided the territory’s expansion to over 30 employees and 400 clients across 22 countries. Prior to Trustwave, Benavidez spent over eight years at IBM Internet Security Systems, serving in various roles from senior consultant on the managed security services team to business development manager for the Latin America and Caribbean regions.
To help achieve corporate milestones at BeyondTrust, Benavidez will focus on channel partners, further leveraging and growing the company’s existing channel program. Additionally, he and his team will focus on educating the market on the risks of privilege misuse and providing solutions for customers to address these challenges. Benavidez also plans to invest in the Latin America region with Spanish and Portuguese support for customers and partners. Benavidez believes in the importance of developing a strong local infrastructure to ensure customer satisfaction.
