PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Standard Insurance Company (“The Standard”) announced today that Amy Malagamba has been promoted to second vice president of Corporate Communications.
In her new role, Malagamba will manage The Standard’s internal communications activities.
Malagamba has more than 25 years of experience in corporate communications, product marketing and investor relations. Malagamba joined The Standard in 2013 and most recently served as senior internal communications manager for the company. She has also held leadership positions at Tektronix and Mentor Graphics.
“Amy is a strategic, highly skilled communications professional with extensive experience,” said Katherine Durham, vice president of Individual Disability Insurance and Corporate Marketing and Communications at The Standard. “She has done an outstanding job managing internal communications at The Standard, and we are excited to see her advance within the company.”
Malagamba earned a Bachelor of Arts in speech and communications from the State University of New York at Oneonta.
