StageBloc Technology to Power Fullscreen Direct

LOS ANGELES--()--Global media company Fullscreen today announced the acquisition of StageBloc, a premiere direct-to-fan technology platform, as part of an effort that will empower creators with more tools to reach fans and monetize content. To support the new offering, the StageBloc technology product will be renamed Fullscreen Direct, and will enable users to control everything in a data-driven environment across content, commerce and community management.

StageBloc was launched in 2013 by co-founders Tom Giles, Josh Holat and JD Hartley, and will operate out of Fullscreen’s Chicago offices.

“We’re putting creators in control of their own brands. With the StageBloc acquisition, we will be able to offer Fullscreen Direct to artists to centralize their content and products to engage their communities in one place,” said Beau Bryant, Fullscreen SVP, Talent and Programming. “Today’s creators reach millions of fans across disparate platforms, and this direct-to-consumer approach is the future of the creator business.”

StageBloc has been the trusted direct-to-fan platform for top musical acts such as Metallica, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Keith Urban and more. StageBloc will enhance its services on the Fullscreen Direct platform to cater to all artists, personalities and creators who desire a singular destination to connect with fans and generate multiple revenue opportunities.

“With Fullscreen Direct, we continue our dedication to help organize and contextualize actionable data for creators, offering insights that help amass audience and revenue growth,” said Tom Giles, StageBloc co-founder. “Our products will offer Fullscreen creators, and artists at large, a simple and straightforward experience to cultivate their brands through media that they get to own and operate.”

Rich with cross-platform tools and insights for creators on the back-end, the front-end Fullscreen Direct experience will be available through a simple single sign on for both mobile and web. Modular and customizable to suit each creator/artist brand, StageBloc technology will integrate with Fullscreen’s proprietary technology and services infrastructure, the Creator Platform, to become an all-encompassing resource for creators. Within the Fullscreen ecosystem, Fullscreen Direct will evolve to further strengthen proprietary and third party apps, tools and services for creators to share with consumers.

Additionally, audience insights will allow stronger direct-to-fan relationship management and marketing through email, social media and apps on web and mobile platforms. To sign up for more information, creators and artists can visit FullscreenDirect.com.

In 2011, Fullscreen debuted its first product offering, the Creator Platform, which was built as a mission control for creators to access tools and expertise to help them grow their channels. Fullscreen has since expanded products and services available to its creator network across multiple platforms. Fullscreen Direct is the company’s latest product in development that offers valuable direct-to-consumer capabilities that help creators and brands build stronger connections with audiences and consolidate their digital presence as an owned and operated property.
