Bruce Shaw Commissioned for Exclusive Alef Residences adjacent to W Dubai – The Palm

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates--()--Bruce Shaw, a multinational construction consultancy firm with an established presence in the Middle East since 2007, is proud to announce its involvement in the development of the ‘Alef Residences’ project which forms part of the W Dubai. The ‘Alef Residences’ are 104 upscale apartments spread across eight mansions in the development on the west crescent of the manmade island, The Palm.

Bruce Shaw is providing full pre and post contract cost management services on this project and was commissioned since the early concept stage in 2011. Their work has involved the detailed preparation of all cost estimates throughout each stage of the design process as well as the procurement of all contractors for the site works. Bruce Shaw has a full on-site based team on the development and is trusted by their client to provide ongoing monthly monitoring of the site progress and recommendations for contractor payments, including the likes of change control measures. Bruce Shaw continues to expand in the Middle East and to forge strong partnership relationships between Middle Eastern clients.

The project takes up 1 million square feet, including the hotel, a landscaped garden, and a 475-metre beachfront, which is the largest private residential beachfront location in Dubai, and the individual units range in size between 4,800 to 15,000 square feet. Apartments will be priced from Dh12 million and go up to Dh50 million for a penthouse. Residents also have access to Club 104, an ultra-exclusive private members’ club spread across 18,000 square feet on three floors available only to residents and select VIPs. The club will host a tennis court, health club, spa, swimming pool, lounge, board room and kids’ zone. Naturally residences will also be able to access facilities at W Dubai – The Palm, it’s 24/7 concierge service and other amenities, including six restaurants. The expected completion date for development is Spring 2017.
