James Brunke Joins AAMSI Defense & Aerospace Industry Advisory Panel

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla.--()--Associated Aircraft Manufacturing & Sales, Inc. (AAMSI) is pleased to announce the appointment of James Brunke to its Industry Advisory Panel.

Jim Brunke’s career began over 35 years ago as an aircraft mechanic on the hanger floor in Southern California. Jim advanced to senior management and CEO positions in global aerospace services and support, including President and CEO of Boeing Aerospace Services, responsible for management of aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul for virtually all of Boeing’s defense related aircraft.

After serving in the United States Air Force in special operations for four years, Jim graduated from the Northrop Institute of Technology in Inglewood, Calif., and earned Airframe and Power Plant licenses with the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration. He then joined Continental Airlines in Southern California, later moving to the North American Aviation Division of Rockwell International as a member of the Technical Staff. North American Aviation was eventually acquired by Boeing. In 2009 Jim retired from Boeing as Vice President of Global MRO Services to expand his career in aerospace creating a successful international management consulting company.

The Industry and Advisory Panel will be a key element in the future growth of AAMSI.

AAMSI is licensed by Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman Corporation to design, manufacture and/or repair a number of legacy electronic systems across a wide variety of military platforms. AAMSI also provides cables, boards, boxes, electronics design, manufacturing and repair of aerospace components and systems.

AAMSI is licensed to manufacture hundreds of F-15, F/A-18 and other military aircraft landing gear and structural airframe parts.

In addition to its avionics and manufacturing capability, AAMSI has a strong expertise in ITAR compliance and is a leader in procuring thousands of parts for foreign allies of the U.S. around the world. In addition to procuring parts, AAMSI maintains millions of legacy parts in stock for its customers.
