Elizabeth Arden, Inc. Announces Appointment of George Cleary as President, Global Fragrances

NEW YORK--()--Elizabeth Arden, Inc. (NASDAQ:RDEN), a global prestige beauty products company, announced today the appointment of George Cleary as President, Global Fragrances, effective March 14, 2016.

Mr. Cleary is a seasoned executive that joins us with over 20 years of experience in beauty and personal care. His most recent role was as CEO, Iluminage, a fast growing global beauty device company. At Iluminage, he was able to accelerate growth while significantly improving profitability and developing a multi-year pipeline of rich innovation. Prior to that, he held several senior positions at Coty Inc. including President, Americas where he had full strategic and operational responsibility of the $1.2 billion business that spanned multiple beauty categories and channels. Mr. Cleary started his career at Nestle and then moved into the personal care and beauty sector where he held several sales and general management positions with Johnson & Johnson before joining Coty. He has a successful track record of profitably growing brand portfolios, both through organic growth as well as acquisition. During his tenure at Coty, Mr. Cleary was directly responsible for fragrance and nail color brand innovation, acquisitions, and the marketing and sales teams within his business unit. This experience along with his strong leadership capabilities and deep retailer relationships makes him uniquely qualified to drive growth in our global fragrances brand portfolio.
