Expensify Partners With Uber on New “Auto-Expense” Feature for Business Travel

New tool automatically submits Uber trip receipts for reimbursement, now Expensify customers won’t have to sort through emails to find Uber receipts or pay out of pocket for business-related rides they forgot about

SAN FRANCISCO--()--Expensify, the fastest growing expense reporting software worldwide, announced today that it has partnered with Uber on the launch of the ridesharing company’s new “Auto-Expense” tool. Auto-Expense, which helps Expensify customers who use Uber keep work and personal rides separate, automatically sends a copy of a customer's Uber receipt to Expensify for reimbursement while they're traveling for business. Auto-Expense is part of Uber's new "Business Profiles" feature.

To activate Auto-Expense, all you need to do is go to your Business Profile located in “Settings” in the Uber app, select “Expensing” and choose Expensify when prompted to “Select Your Platform.” Then just enter your work email address, and select “Connect.”
