CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Protection 1, the premier full-service business and home security company in the U.S., today announced that it has hired Ken Rosen to serve as its new Vice President of Residential Sales, reporting to Chief Revenue Officer Jamie Haenggi.

Rosen began his career in the security industry in 1996 as a Regional Director of Sales at ADT and has held multiple leadership positions throughout his career including General Manager, District General Manager, and most recently, National Director of Dealer Sales.
As an industry professional with 20 years of experience, he has extensive knowledge in field operations and sales processes and has personally mentored 20 sales managers and implemented Sales Excellence Programs for over 400 sales professionals.
In addition to working for ADT, Rosen has also held sales and general management positions with Johnson Control, Tyco and Monitronics. While at Monitronics, he ran an independent sales force of dealers which was responsible for doubling the company’s revenue in less than five years. This growth was supported by a strong operations and finance team which he leveraged to maximize high retention rates with both dealers and consumers.
Prior to joining Protection 1, Rosen again worked for ADT where he served as National Director of Dealer Sales. In this role, he was responsible for all of ADT’s dealer recruiting and development efforts. In less than three years, his team added over 120 dealers and grew new dealer production significantly.
