HERNDON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Tech 2000, Inc. (Tech 2000), a leading education technology and solutions company, has added two new directors to its board of directors, Bruce Klein and Paul Opalack.
“Adding these two technology rockstars to our board will help us aggressively expand Tech 2000, as well as our appnetic and Lumious enterprise software businesses,” said Tien Wong, CEO of Tech 2000. Klein and Opalack will help shape future strategy for not only Tech 2000’s core business of corporate learning and development, software development, and learning tools and analytics, but also the company’s two software as a service (SaaS) businesses: sales acceleration platform appnetic, and learning analytics platform Lumious.
Klein was most recently senior vice president of Cisco Systems’ Worldwide Partner Organization, where his team supported over 60,000 channel partners. Prior to his 10 years at Cisco, Klein was vice president of federal at Hewlett Packard. His illustrious career includes his being selected as one of the top 50 CRN “Channel Chiefs” in the world and receiving a lifetime achievement award from the Institute for Excellence in Sales. Wong added, “Through his work at two of the largest technology companies globally, Bruce is arguably the most knowledgeable channel sales expert in technology. He brings a world of knowledge, experience, and contacts to the Tech 2000 team.”
Opalack is managing director of Noblestar Capital, LLC, a private investment vehicle. Previously, he was managing director of Noblestar International, an international technology consultancy with offices in London, Amsterdam, Warsaw, Stockholm, and Vilnius. He was also, for 23 years, chairman of Noblestar Systems Corp. a technology consulting firm, and senior vice president of CapGeminiSogeti. “Paul has founded, invested in, scaled, and exited numerous technology services and products companies, including a $1 billion exit, and we are excited for him to apply his wisdom and expertise to our business,” said Wong.
